Tamara has drawn and made sculptures of Circus Performers, Dancers and Corporeal Mime Artists since 1996. They have also been her most trusted collaborators in Drawing and Circus Workshops for Circus Colleges, Psychiatric Hospitals, Pupil Referral Units and Schools for Children with Disabilities or problems with ‘behaviour’. Aerialists seem to express all that a human can be, as if they are ‘playing’ with life and death, yet they depend on daily rigorous training to stay safe in the air.
People Tamara has drawn and worked with: Kirsty Little (trapeze/physical theatre), Mozes (corde-lisse), Jo Dance (dance/yoga), John-Paul Zaccharini (corde-lisse/physical theatre), Dirk Schambacher (corde-lisse), Oliver Pollak (corporeal mime), Emma, Lina and Sylvia of Mimbre (acrobalance), David Linton (corde-lisse), Markos (German wheel), Raquel (swinging trapeze), Bryan Donaldson (flying trapeze and at-height rigging), Sam Hague (wire walker/slack rope) ……… and many more.
